Instagram has introduced two new updates: live video feature and disappearing photos and videos for groups and friends in Instagram Direct.
Instagram Stories was announced in August, 2016. Instagram Stories a way to share moments, not only for those who are on your profile, any once can see your stories. 100 million people use this feature everyday. These stories disappears after 24 hours.
When user are done, their live story disappears from the app so user can feel more comfortable sharing anything, anytime. Now Instagram users can feel free to share their unlimited private pictures that will be disappear after After seeing by the recipient. Now in new feature it is possible to share video in a same fashion in the Instagram’s direct message section.
The live streaming experience is very similar to Periscope and Snapchat.
It is very easy to go with live video
Just sweep right into the camera and tap the “Start Live Video” button and then tap the paper airplane icon to send it privately. Your friends will get a notification when you go live so they can tune in.
When someone you follow starts a live story, user will see “Live” under their profile photo in the stories bar. During the broadcast, user can comment and like as much as they want. user can also check out new live stories on Explore. They need to tap “Top Live” to see exciting live stories happening at that moment and swipe right and left to easily skip around.
Videos for groups & friends in Instagram Direct
Now users can send disappearing photos and videos directly to groups and individual friends in direct message.
User need to swipe right into the camera to take a photo or video and then tap the paper airplane icon to send it privately. User can choose a group or create a group. User can also send their video or picture to individual friends at the same time.
