The BlackBerry® KEYone has been launched in the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2017) in Barcelona, Spain on February 2017. This new secured KEYone smartphone has a strong aluminium frame, impact resistant display and soft textured back. It has come with world’s most advanced touch sensitive smart physical keyboard.
The KEYone is manufactured by BlackBerry in partnership with TCL. The device will be available in April 2017 all around the world and will come at a price of $549 (around 36,500 in India).
Keyone Smart Keyboard Features
The smart Keyboard acts as a trackpad and all 52 letter keys are programmable. Additionally, KEYone is the first smartphone to build a fingerprint sensor directly into the keyboard spacebar for added functionality and security.
- Shortcuts:The keyboard can be easily programmed to launch up to 52 customizable shortcuts, such as pressing “I” for your inbox, “M” to access maps or “B” to open browser.
- Flick typing: Predictive text made even faster with the ability to flick words onto your screen as you type.
- Touch navigation: Responds to touch gestures like a trackpad, to quickly scroll through webpages or emails.
