To compete with Reliance Jio Happy New Year 2018 offer, new Vodafone Rs 198 plan has been launched for prepaid users along with new 229 prepaid plan.

By paying 198, Vodafone is providing unlimited voice calls and 1GB 3G/4G data for 28 days. The unlimited calls can be made both, locally as well as when on roaming.

The users will also get 2800 SMS with a daily cap of 100 SMS per day. Earlier in the same price bracket, the company was offering 1GB of 3G/4G data for a month.

229 Plan: First-time rechargers

For first-time rechargers, Vodafone has introduced a new 229 offer. This offer includes 1GB 4G/3G/2G data per day along with other benefits unlimited voice calls for 28 days and 100 SMS per day.

Jio Happy New Year 2018 offer v/s Vodafone 198

Jio Happy New Year 2018 ( 199 Plan): Jio is offering 1.2GB 4G data per day with a validity of 28 days. In it, you will also get free voice calling, unlimited SMS and subscription to Premium Jio Apps for all Jio Prime Members for 28 days.

Vodafone 198 Plan: At this price tag, you will get 1GB 3G/4G data, unlimited calls, 100 SMSes per day and free roaming. Though, Jio offers more data at the same price than the Vodafone. (Jio is providing 1.2GB data while Voda offers 1GB data).

Jio Happy New Year 2018: 299 Plan

For high data users, the new 299 plan is very beneficial. In it, Jio offers 2GB data per day with a validity of 28 days and will have unlimited calls which include local and STD as well as on roaming across the country.

And also, you will get access to all Jio apps. Though, once you consume the 2GB of high-speed data every day, the speeds are capped at 128Kbps post that, the same as in other plans.
