Indian smartphone manufacturer Micromax launched a new smartphone named Selfie 2 priced at 9,999. This device comes with 100 Days Replacement warranty scheme. As per this scheme, the company promise to replace the smartphone with the same or quivalent model in first 100 Days from the activation of device in case of any damage. As per name Selfie 2, this device is a selfie centric smartphone. Micromax Selfie 2 has wide angle 8 MP front camera which have Sony IM135 Sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens and soft flash with One touch shot and beauty mode features. Also, it has 13 MP rear camera with OV 8856 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens and single LED flash. The rear camera features Blue glass IR filter, super pixels 5200M mode for minimum noise and real time Bokeh effect for blur the background.
Selfie 2 has 5.2 inch 720p HD IPS display. It also has 2.5D curved glass on top and fast fingerprint scanner at back side. The device is powered by MediaTek MT6737 Quad core 1.3 GHz processor with Mali T720 GPU coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which is expandable up to 64GB via SD card.
Micromax Selfie 2 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat which features multi window view, direct notification reply, quick setting option and enhanced Doze mode for better user experience. It also packs with 3000mAh removable battery which gives more than one day battery backup.
The device support Dual Sim which is 4G enabled. It also support 22 Indian regional languages. For better connectivity, this device includes Wi-Fi, bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Micro USB 2.0, 3.5mm audio jack, and it also support USB-OTG.
