Lenovo owned Motorola has rolled out Android 7.1.1 Nougat update for the Moto Z Play in India. Nougat update comes with the build number NPN26.107 and it measure 981MB. Moto Z Play was the last year’s flagship device which launched in India with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.
The Android 7.1.1 Nougat brings so many changes including multi tasking feature, split screen mode, more customisable quick setting, enhanced notification window, Doze on the go, send GIFs directly from keyboard, direct notification reply. Along with there are some stability improvements, enhanced battery life and latest security patch of July 2017 too.
Moto Z Play launched in india in October 2016 at 24,999, which comes with 6.9mm thick aluminum body and 5.5 inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with Corning gorila glass protection. This device is powered by 2.0 GHz Snapdragon 625 octa core CPU and Adreno 506 GPU paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which is expandable up to 2TB.
This Smartphone comes with 16MP rear camera with Laser auto focus, PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus), dual LED flash and 4K video recording support. It also has 5MP front camera with 85° wide angle lens, flash and beautification mode. It backed by 3510 mAh non removable battery with support of Turbo power charging technology.
Moto Z Play featured water repellent nano coating. It also has 4G VoLTE enabled dual SIM support. In other connectivity option this device have Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, NFC, A-GPS, USB type C port, 3.5mm port. It also support various Moto Mods too. Apart from that this device support some various sensors like fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, proximity and audio monitor.
