Three new apps – TRAI Mycall App & update version of TRAI MySpeed and Do Not Disturb (DND 2.0) apps – Launched by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) to help customers rate quality of services, speed and performance.
MyCall App
The Android version of MyCALL App will help mobile phone users to rate the quality of a phone call in real time. In turn, the app will help TRAI to gather customer experience data along with Network data.
How MyCall App works?
- After a call ends, a pop-up will appear requesting the user to rate the call quality, from one star to five star, five being the highest.
- The caller will have to select the rating in the form of stars and indicate whether the call was made indoor, outdoor or while travelling.
- Callers can also provide additional details such as noise or audio delay and mark a call drop, whenever it happens.
