On 20th August 2017, Chinese smartphone manufacturer CoolpadIndia has launched its flagship device named Coolpad Cool Play 6, at an event in Dubai for Indian market and this phone is especially designed for gamers. It will be exclusively available on Amazon.in from 4th September priced at 14,999.

Cool Play 6 comes with fully metal unibody design and 5.5 inch Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by Snapdragon 653 Octa core processor(4 core runs on 1.8GHz ARM Cortex A72 and other 4 core runs on 1.4GHz ARM Cortex A53) and Adreno 510 GPU coupled with 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. The company has also announced to provide the Android 8.0 OTA update before December 2017.

Main USP of the device is its dual camera setup at back. 13MP + 13MP sensor include one colour and other monochrome sensor with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus), dual tone LED flash for better low light photography and it is also capable to capture perfect Bokeh click. In front Cool Play 6 has 8 MP camera with f/2.2 aperture and beauty mode for better selfies. Cool Play 6 packed with 4060mAh non-removable battery. It has a fingerprint sensor on the back panel which is a very fast and accurate.
