The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphone with an iris biometric scanner has launched in India on August 2016.
The Galaxy Note 7 smartphone is dust and water resistant with IP68 certification and comes with Samsung Knox security suite with biometric authentication that includes both the iris scanning feature and the fingerprint scanner.
The iris scanner allows users to unlock phones with their eyes and is one of the secure ways of locking phones. It is the first smartphone from Samsung with such a feature.
The note handset has an upgraded stylus “S Pen”, which is water resistance and has a fine pressure sensitivity i.e. 4,096 levels, so that one can scribble notes on screen, highlight text and more. It has a smaller tip, measuring 0.7 mm so that it feels more like writing with a real pen.
It has a magnifying loupe, quick text translation tool and a new tool that makes it easy to create GIFs from any video that is currently playing.
Expected Price: Rs. 52,300.
