The two big tech companies – Xiaomi & Microsoft – have signed a strategic MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) and this Microsoft – Xiaomi MoU will support in cloud computing, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and laptop-type devices.

The focus of Microsoft – Xiaomi MoU will be on the following aspects:
- Cloud support: Here, both the companies will explore ways to utilize Microsoft Azure cloud platform to support Xiaomi’s user data storage, bandwidth, computing and other cloud services in international markets.
- Laptop-type devices: As per MoU, Microsoft will co-market Xiaomi laptops and laptop-type devices running Windows in international markets.
- Microsoft Cortana and Mi AI Speaker: In future, you shall be able to use Cortana with Mi AI Speaker. It can be possible because both companies are discussing opportunities to integrate Cortana with AI-powered speakers of Mi.
- AI services collaboration: Both the tech companies are planning to explore multiple cooperative projects based on a broad range of Microsoft AI technologies and Microsoft AI products.
