Netflix rival Disney Plus will be officially going to live for Indian users via Hotstar app on 29th March 2020, after testing beta version recently.
Hence, dear users dont’ be confuse or shock if you have started watching some of the shows on Disney+ beta version & now unable to access the content, which is roll backed by Hotstar from its website and mobile apps after testing!
Wait till March 29 for the official Disney+ Hotstar launch in India to access the content.
New Hotstar!
The Hotstar app will be rebranded to Disney+ Hotstar. Its new logo will be blue in colour to mark the arrival of Disney+. However, the Hotstar website still follows the same colour scheme.
Disney+ is a subscription video on-demand streaming service i.e. owned & operated by Walt Disney Company.

The streaming service costs ₹999 a year and ₹299 a month (or update Hotstar Premium service on Android or iOS).
In contrast, Netflix has multiple monthly plans starting at ₹199 (only mobile) to ₹799.

Can Hotstar VIP users access Disney Plus content?
No, they can’t access. Though, you can watch Disney movies such as Doctor Strange, Captain America: Civil War (only in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu). Above all, you can also view Disney Kids shows such as Mickey Mouse, Timon and Pumbaa, Sofia the First in regional languages. For English content, Premium subscription is required.
Furthermore, you need to upgrade Hotstar Premium subscription to watch the Disney+ content.
