This October is special for Google, as it is hosting hardware event in San Francisco on 4th October to launch its Android-based smartphones namely- Pixel & Pixel XL, and an updated 4K-version of the chromecast dongle. These smartphones will launched in India on 5th October.
The event will also show off its Google’s DayDream VR platform and Google Home, a voice-activated home product that allows user to get answers from Google, stream music and manage everyday tasks.

Google Pixel
According to Android Police, Google’s upcoming Pixel smartphones are designed by HTC with codenames “Sailfish” and “Marlin“. It has also reported that the price range of Pixel devices shall be akin to the iPhone 7 or Galaxy S7 and both shall support the fingerprint sensor.
If we talk about design of Pixel smartphones, then according to Venture Beat, the press image of the front of handset would be as shown in given figure.
In it, users shall get dual tone design and feature metal and glass. The back of the devices is featured a combination of metal and glass, which could become a first among smartphones.
Expected Price: Rs. 60,000
As per the rumors, Google might drop the Nexus series and will continue with Pixel series in future.

4K Version of Google Chromecast Dongle
The Google Chromecast is a media streaming device that plugs into the HDMI dongle that wirelessly cast content to user’s favourite TV shows, films, music, sport, games, etc by simply using their mobile device. It works with iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, etc. As per Venture Beat, the 4K version of Google Chromecast will be called as ”Chromecast Ultra”.
