4 Oct. 9:30 pm IST most awaiting event of Google is started, almost after 10 min. Google officially announced its first stock android powered phone Google Pixel. It is the first phone that is entirely made by Google (hardware and software).Google Pixel is the first smartphone that comes with the Google assistant which is somehow similar and better version of assistant present in Google Allo app. At this event two launches two phones Google Pixel and Pixel XL. Design of these phones are identical discuss here what hot whats not in Google Pixel and Pixel XL ,so lets get started.
DESIGN
Google Pixel is almost uni-body aluminium phone with little bit of chamfered all the way around sides. Overall its pretty round pretty familiar shape. Top half of the back is glass panel where fingerprint reader is situated, other half is aluminium. So it have interesting dual tone look. The large bezels on the front seem somewhat pointless unless they’re hiding stereo speakers.
DISPLAY
The only difference between Google Pixel and Pixel XL is display size which leads to difference in resolutions. 5.5 inch Google Pixel XL comes with quad-HD, AMOLED display with the resolutions of 2560* 1440. which is almost the same as the nexus 6P in 2015 . And its pretty standard for the the flagship phones in the market.
On the other hand Google Pixel offers 5 inch full HD display with the resolution of 1080P. Display of both the phones is quite sharp and works really fine in outside.
CAMERA
Camera of Google Pixel and Pixel XL is identical, they both support 12.3 megapixel rear camera with a Sony IMX378 sensor,PDAF,a large f/20 aperture and 1.55-micron pixels. Both sport an 8 megapixel front camera with a Sony IMX179 sensor, an f/2.4 aperture and 1.4 micron pixels.
A popular camera rating website DxOMARK said about Pixel camera,
“With an overall DxOMark Mobile score of 89, Pixel, the latest Google smartphone, is the highest-rated smartphone camera we have ever tested. Its image quality scores are impressive across the board, but it is particularly strong in providing a very high level of detail from its 12.3MP camera, with relatively low levels of noise for every tested lighting condition. It also provides accurate exposures with very good contrast and white balance, as well as fast autofocus.”
I think the best feature of the pixel camera is its optical image stabilization, which is perfectly works in making video.
PERFORMANCE
Pixel phones are the first phone that comes with new 1.6 GHz quad-core qualcomm snapdragon 821 processor, so they are theoretically fastest phone in the android market. this processor paired with 4GB DDR4 ram.
The new snapdragon 821 reported 10 % increase in processing power over the snapdragon 820 and should ensure top- notch performance on these phones.it also means that phones will run smoothly on Daydream VR software.

Google Pixel and Pixel XL both phones are now available for the Pre-order in US, Australia, UK, NZ and some other countries. pricing of Google Pixel 32 GB variant is 649$ ,128 GB variant 749$. pricing of google pixel XL 32 GB variant is 749$ and 128 GB variant is 869$.
In India phones are available for pre-order from 13 October. These phones will be available
