Soon, WhatsApp’s new Dismiss as Admin feature will roll out for its users, which can allow a group admin to dismiss another admin, without removing them from the group. The feature is already live on Android beta version of the app, though the iOS version is yet to get this.
At present, when an admin promotes someone to the admin position, removing them as admin meant that the person has to remove from the group.
Right now, WhatsApp is testing the feature Dismiss as Admin for both Android and iOS, which will allow a particular admin to be demoted, instead of just removing them entirely from the group. This was first reported by WABetaInfo .
Dismiss as Admin – On Android
The Dismiss as admin feature is already available for WhatsApp for Android beta v2.18.12 & it is also being tested for iOS. Users who have signed up for beta testing on Google Play Store can check if they have the version and the feature on their app. Of course, you will need to be a group admin of some group in order to check out this feature.
WhatsApp has indicated it will enhance the power of group admins where in they could restricts messages, GIFs, videos, etc., sent by members. Restricted groups could see more control by admins.

WhatsApp is also testing a new Quick Switch feature to let users shift from voice call to video call. The feature is already live on Android beta version of the app.
WhatsApp Business App – Labels
WhatsApp Business App, which is currently available in beta version, has received a new feature Labels, which will be exactly similar to that inside Gmail service. It will allow businesses to filter chats and messages to classify them easily. This feature is currently available for the WhatsApp Business beta version v2.18.3.
This update strongly pointed that the WhatsApp Business App will be officially launch soon.
